Making clothes
Within a world where fast fashion is ever-growing yet damaging our environment it is important to make sure we get as much use out of the clothes and fabrics we already own. So due to the unfortunate times ,where we are all in lockdown and isolated in our homes, it is the perfect time to sort out our wardrobes. I have started making new garments from old fabrics and clothes I have found instead of throwing them away. Firstly I started with a old dress I found, it didn't fit well and was not flattering however I love the colour and pattern of the material so wanted to turn it into something I would actually wear. I decided to take it apart and I turned it into a top and skirt.
